Job Function:   

Senior HR Officer manages end-to-end HR operations, coordinates employee lifecycle processes, and ensures legal compliance while delivering smooth HR services across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment for all departments, including back support , sales and production.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, source and interview candidates, and ensure timely, compliant recruitment in line with company policies and labor laws.
  • Oversee the day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth execution of employee services, payroll, and benefits administration.
  • Coordinate and manage the full onboarding process, including documentation, orientation, and training for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
  • Monitor and assess employees during probation periods and collaborate with department heads to evaluate performance, providing recommendations for confirmation, extension, or termination.
  • Oversee the compliance process, including managing employment contracts, SSB process , Personal Income Tax process and handling external relations.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Manage and maintain the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring accurate employee data and generating reports.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR related documents, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures, ensuring compliance with Myanmar labor law.
  • Assist with performance management processes, including performance reviews, feedback, and employee development plans.
  • Manage and process the end-to-end payroll cycle, ensuring accurate and timely payroll disbursements for all employees.
  • Administer and manage employee compensation programs, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry standards.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate training programs to enhance employee skills, support professional growth, and align with organizational objectives
  • Oversee the offboarding process, ensuring timely exit interviews, retrieval of company property, and proper documentation of employee separation.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG, ideally alcoholic beverages.
  • Strong knowledge of Myanmar labor laws and regulations
  • Experience handling disciplinary actions, probation assessments, and HR operational processes.

Skills:

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, payroll software, and MS Office applications.
  • High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
