• Oversee and assign tasks related to product orders from the distribution center and manufacturers.
• Provide guidance on adjustments or cancellations of orders to the fresh food department and plan ahead for stock preparation at Makro Mall.
• Control and direct operations to ensure high standards of product receiving and quality presentation (based on various freshness indicators such as smell and color) as well as product characteristics.
• Manage the sale of products with specified expiration dates and ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory turnover.
• Oversee product transfers and condition adjustments.
• Ensure that the inventory management system in the warehouse adheres to FIFO principles.
• Collaborate with Goods Receipt (GR) staff to ensure that suppliers deliver products on time, at the appropriate quality, and within the required temperature standards while maintaining cleanliness in production, transportation, and packaging.
• Control and assign tasks to ensure the adequacy of stock, conducting random quarterly checks to confirm that available inventory aligns with sales forecasts and to avoid excessive or insufficient stock levels.
• Foster customer satisfaction by building strong relationships and responding to customer requests, complaints, and suggestions. Train staff to engage with customers by making eye contact, greeting them, and assisting them in locating desired products.
• Ensure compliance with company dress code regulations and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements, including wearing designated uniforms or equipment to prevent workplace hazards.
• Oversee and assign responsibilities for maintaining cleanliness in stock areas, shelving, and workspaces, ensuring adherence to GMP standards (monitoring the performance of PCS staff and workforce).
• Control and assign tasks related to maintaining the standards of product displays and presentations.
• Oversee and assign responsibilities for product disposal and clearance processes as defined.

Bachelor's degree.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the food service business, or other related industries.
