This position is for Auston Engineering University.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Academic support

  • Assist Head of Student Service with planning the Orientation Program/Welcome Week and all the other events in consultation with relevant departments
  • Monitor student attendance in each lecture and maintain a proper record
  • Notify respective students who have not met the expected attendance percentage
  • Align with Academic team for schedule, seminar and exam date etc
  • Communicate with students and lecturers for any changes in schedule
  • Focus on supporting the students including the administrative, program or social support
  • Communicate with students and program coordinators about placement specifics, out of area requirements, program changes on a regular basis
  • Maintain the part time lecturer attendance record and send this to HR monthly
  • Prepare the student feedback report related with Academic, Facilities, Activities and send it to Head of Student Service
  • Maintain and monitor the student database
  • Consultation with student whenever necessary together with the Head of Student Service and Academic Team
  • Supervise the student in any external activities such as CSR, Industry Visit, Sports etc

Administrative support

  • Prepare the student contract and collect the payment
  • Follow up the documentation and additional information with Sales team
  • Ensure that all relevant due payments are paid, and attendance is satisfactory before allowing exam admission
  • Liaise with Finance team for payment matter and handover the student payment
  • Communicate with IT for student and lecturer email request and additional IT requirement
  • Prepare the student payment update and report to the Head of Student Service monthly
  • Follow-up with students and parents as directed by the Head of Student Service for pending payments
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to design and source gifts and promotion items for students
  • Monitor the stock status of student items such as T-shirt, Cup, etc
  • Track the student service expense and send it to Head of Student Service monthly
  • Prepare the weekly task report and send it to Head of Student Service and have one to one meeting

  • Bachelor’s degree or other education in relevant field
  • Minimum 1 year experience in education industry preferred
  • An independent self–starter with initiative and excellent time management skills with eyes for details
  • Able to work in a dynamic and culturally diverse environment with good interpersonal and communications skills (written and oral)
  • Skilled at planning, organizing and multi-tasking, understands the importance of deadlines and timelines
  • Self-driven and flexible approach to changing work tasks
  • Excellent team working skills
  • Good spoken and written communication skills in English
