Implement instructional strategies and use clear and consistent classroom management in ways
that support the classroom teachers and are in concert with the school philosophy
.

• Facilitate small group learning for literacy and math in classroom

• Communicate regularly with classroom teachers to plan and best meet student needs together
• Strive to implement both English and Burmese curricula to support classroom teachers
• Practice active participation and supervision for off campus field trips 

• Supervise and facilitate lunch duties including recess 

• Assist with administrative tasks such as copying; set-up, prepping, and organization of the
classroom; correcting student work; and general classroom maintenance, as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of classrooms
• Attend weekly staff meetings 

• Be an active and enthusiastic member of the GYS team 

• Strive to learn and implement curricula (e.g., Highscope, Jolly Phonics)
• Contribute to creating a school culture where faculty members actively collaborate in developing
best practices that are shared in and out of the classroom and the school community.

• A love of children and early childhood education
• At least 1-2 years of classroom experience
• Good conversational English
• Have basic understanding of early childhood, social/emotional development
• A strong desire to learn best practices and a good team player
• A willingness to complete our TA & English language training courses
