Designs and implements short- and long-term strategic plans to make certain network capacity to meet existing and future requirements. Practices network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory, life cycle management, and related documentation. Manages and ensures optimal operation of all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, and so on. Tests network performance and provides network performance statistics and reports. Directs and administrates a contingent of network analysis, and technicality, where it is necessary to conduct performance reviews and corrective action including network infrastructure and ISP internet gateways. Leads on the installation/configuration and maintenance of DNS, firewall and other security, traffic shaping, caching and filtering, installation and configuration of Cisco, Wireless (WFI), router and VPN. Provides escalated technical support that requires an on-site presence (network or PC equipment failure), including OS data backup recovery. Performs troubleshooting as required, as such, leads to problem-solving efforts often involving outside vendors and other support users. Manages day-to-day operation, hardware server, storage, installation, configuration operating system, and application, and records the system downtime and equipment inventory. Ensures high availability and acceptable levels of performance of the critical host server and storage resources.
Duties and Responsibilities of Application Development Unit Manager Ensure that applications meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues. Plan, execute, design, develop, install and manage the integration of new applications into existing systems and software throughout the enterprise enhancements and upgrades. Review and analyze existing applications effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems using various programming languages, tools and techniques. Collaborate with analysts, architects, and system owners in the testing of new software programs and provide direction for the application team in support of business operations Ensure that any new system integration into business systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications. Work diligently to enhance or improve business processes via integration or, as necessary, minimize the impact of integration on those processes. Design, develop and test applications for iOS or Android Provides leadership in planning and joins the IT development project implementation and training sessions for IT support, Manage contracts with the relevant vendors to ensure prompt deliveries of service application. Provides consulting/training/education services such as Document management and staff training/orientation for standard systems, IT Policies, procedure, Guideline etc.
Develop payroll and compensation structure in compliance with stated rules and regulations. Maintain payroll information, directing the collection, calculation and entering of data. Update payroll and compensation records by reviewing changes in deduction, addition, exemptions, job titles, department and transfer. Prepares reports by compiling summaries of hired or terminated staff, incentives, overtime, leave deduction, taxes and salary advance to support the salary calculation. Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll and compensation operations by keeping information confidential. Monitor the market trend and develop employee welfare plan in accordance with applicable law. Build strong network with Tax Office and SSB office. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Perform other tasks as assigned by manager.
