Check the quality and weight of newly purchased gold items or items received from goldsmiths, and verify the records in the Accounting Software after the Inventory Department generates and assigns barcodes. Audit and calculate whether the wastage rates applied by goldsmiths are accurate and correct. Check the Inventory Receivable and Payable records daily using the Accounting Software to ensure accuracy and prepare regular reports. Be proficient in ERP or Inventory Software and barcode systems. Take full responsibility for all gold jewelry, gold bars/ingots, and gold received from goldsmiths at the store, from beginning to end. Personally supervise the systematic storage of all gold jewelry in the safe during the morning and evening closing procedures. Lead daily or weekly surprise stock checks. Investigate the reasons for any discrepancies between the recorded inventory and actual physical stock as soon as possible and report them to the Finance Manager. Prepare and issue the Month-end Inventory Report at the end of every month. Monitor inventory turnover and determine which items should be purchased in larger quantities based on stock movement. Notify the relevant team when inventory levels are low and additional production or purchasing is required. Supervise the receiving and quality control (QC) inspection process for newly produced gold items received from goldsmiths. Scan items using a barcode scanner and reconcile them with the inventory records. Conduct daily supervision and lead a comprehensive inventory audit once a month. Assign Inventory staff to the sections that need to be checked each day. Supervise daily inventory operations and be responsible for preparing daily and monthly inventory summaries.
Verify whether operational accounting data, such as Revenue and Expenses recorded in the Cash Book by Junior Accountants, is properly reconciled with the Accounting Software. Check and reconcile daily Sales Invoices, Cash Receipts, Gold Issue Forms , and gold product outflows against the Accounting Software. Reconcile bank deposits, withdrawals, and KPay screenshots with the accounting records. Conduct surprise inspections of gold products at the shop once a week . Update Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) records and ensure invoices are paid accurately and on time. Review and verify interest calculations for Gold Savings, Cash Savings, Gold Deposits, and Cash Deposits . Calculate Fixed Asset Depreciation and conduct a physical verification of fixed assets once a month . Perform monthly account closing . Prepare Profit & Loss (P&L) Statements and Balance Sheets . Prepare tax reports and documents for taxes payable to the government. Possess strong Organizational and Time Management Skills .
