JobNet.com.mm (“Company”) is the leading job site in Myanmar working with thousands of Employers and Job Seekers using the portal every month. The company takes privacy and cyber security very seriously, and is committed to taking all precautions to protect their clients and candidates personal data.
The Company is currently investigating a recent security report that may have involved unauthorized access to certain systems. Upon reporting the issue, we immediately activated our cyber response plan, isolated potential affected areas, and engaged our specialized third-party cyber security experts to determine the scope and nature of any potential breach. JobNet's systems currently remain stable, however the Company will continue to work diligently to verify what or if any data was breached and will provide timely updates as more verified facts become available.
JobNet follows international best practices and has taken significant measures to ensure the right layers of defence is implemented, including: Amazon (AWS) Hosting infrastructures and servers, physical security, firewalls, security logging, password protection and encryption, and advanced software utilization monitors to detect and identify potential external threats, which will be used to prosecute all known assailants.
The Company maintains a high level of standard when it comes to cyber security, but of course many systems are subject to new technologies and need to be continually updated from time to time. For this, the Company is dedicated to upgrading it’s systems and to protecting their customers and users where possible.
