Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Accountant to manage the accounting and audit functions of our group companies in Myanmar and Singapore. This role requires handling the full set of accounts, preparing for internal and external audits, and ensuring compliance with local and international financial reporting standards.

The position offers flexible remote working arrangements, with the expectation to attend office meetings as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
    •    Manage the full set of accounts for Myanmar and Singapore entities
    •    Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and cash flow projections
    •    Handle accounts receivable/payable, bank reconciliation, and payroll accounting
    •    Maintain proper documentation and accurate records for all financial transactions
    •    Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements in both countries
    •    Assist in budget planning, cost control, and financial forecasting
    •    Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies when necessary

Work Arrangement:
    •    Work From Home (Remote) with flexibility
    •    Attend physical office meetings or coordination sessions as required

Requirements:
    •    Minimum 5 years of accounting and audit experience
    •    Strong knowledge of full set of accounts and audit documentation
    •    Proficiency in Xero Accounting Software
    •    Good understanding of Myanmar and Singapore accounting standards and tax systems
    •    Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, etc. is a plus)
    •    Strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work independently
    •    Good communication and organizational skills
