This role is focused on driving commercial execution and supporting deal closure across Cynexix’s payment solutions business.

 

The Business Development Manager will work closely with the CEO to manage end-to-end opportunities, prepare commercial proposals, follow up with partners and customers, and ensure all deals are progressed efficiently and without delay.

 

Strategic client relationships are currently led by the CEO. This role is designed to act as a key execution arm, ensuring strong pipeline discipline, operational follow-through, and scalability of the business as Cynexix continues to expand across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and track all opportunities across the full lifecycle, from initial engagement through to deal closure, ensuring each opportunity is properly structured and continuously progressing
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline visibility using CRM or internal tracking tools, with clear status updates, defined next steps, and identification of risks or bottlenecks
  • Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and supporting documentation in alignment with business requirements, ensuring pricing, scope, and commercial terms are accurate and consistent
  • Align all commercial outputs with internal guidance, ensuring consistency across submissions to partners and customers
  • Drive timely and structured follow-ups with partners, customers, and internal stakeholders, actively chasing pending items, approvals, and decisions
  • Ensure no delays in execution by maintaining strong ownership of all open action items and dependencies
  • Act as a coordination bridge between the CEO, partners, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment at all stages
  • Participate in client and partner meetings as required, capturing key discussion points, requirements, risks, and action items
  • Support the CEO in driving structured, outcome-focused discussions and ensuring proper follow-up after each engagement
  • Support the identification and development of new business opportunities through market awareness and partner engagement
  • Assist in initial outreach, qualification, and early-stage discussions while aligning with overall commercial direction
  • Maintain high attention to detail, responsiveness, and discipline in managing multiple opportunities simultaneously

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in business development, sales, commercial operations, or account management
  • Experience in fintech, banking, payment solutions, or technology-related industries is highly preferred
  • Strong skills in proposal preparation, quotation management, and commercial documentation
  • Excellent follow-up, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience using CRM systems or pipeline tracking tools is an advantage
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
