Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive Chief Accountant to lead day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate reporting, and support sound financial decisions. This role oversees compliance, controls, and team coordination in a dynamic trading environment in Yangon.

Key Responsibilities
● Supervise the full accounting cycle, including AP, AR, GL, and month-end close.
● Prepare timely financial statements, schedules, and management reports for review.
● Ensure compliance with Myanmar tax laws, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
● Monitor cash flow, reconciliations, and internal controls to maintain financial accuracy.
● Coordinate external audits, statutory filings, and responses to finance-related inquiries.
● Support budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to guide business planning and decisions.
● Lead and develop the accounting team to improve efficiency, quality, and accountability.

● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification is preferred.
● Proven experience in accounting leadership, ideally in trading, distribution, or import/export.
● Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit processes.
● Hands-on experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
● Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
● Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software; ERP experience is an advantage.
● Strong communication, leadership, and team management skills.
● High integrity, accountability, and a practical approach to problem-solving.
