Job Summary
Experienced Chief Accountant to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support compliance for a trading/distribution business in Shwepyithar, Yangon.

• Responsibilities

  *Manage and supervise the accounting functions including Account Receivable, Account Payable, and General Ledger.

  *Ensure all accounting records and financial transactions are accurate and properly maintained.

  *Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in a timely manner.

  *Monitor daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

  *Prepare and review Journal Entries and ensure all transactions are correctly recorded in the accounting system.

  *Coordinate with management regarding financial planning, budgeting, and financial analysis.

  *Cooperate with External Auditors and provide the necessary accounting documents and reports during audits.

  *Monitor company Cash Flow and ensure sufficient financial resources for business operations.

  *Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance and cost control.

● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualification is a plus.
● Proven experience in accounting or finance, preferably in trading, distribution, or import/export.
● Strong knowledge of Myanmar tax, accounting standards, and financial reporting practices.
● Skilled in preparing month-end and year-end closing, reconciliations, and audit support.
● Proficient in accounting software, Excel, and preparing clear financial reports.
● Strong leadership, attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
● Must be able to work in Shwepyithar, Yangon, and handle responsibilities independently.
