A Fantastic Opportunity for ...

To supervise and advise water analysis method and advice the Lab team for correct procedure and test method.
Develop the SOP and PPMS under the scope of Chemistry section.
Support Lab Manager/Lead in facing customer technical enquiries and feedback of analysis results.
Conduct method development & validation for new / modified analysis to ensure conformity to quality system requirements – method suitability, measurement uncertainty (MU) establishment, and overall measurement traceability.
Setting up Lab and procurement of the required lab consumables and test equipment.
Advise chemical dosing rate and optimize plant chemical usage.
Advise wastewater and water treatment plant operations base on lab analysis result.
Prepare lab analysis report and maintained the record and report to team leader.
Prepare the chemical consumption records and reagent record monthly and report to team leader.
To work in cooperation with other department/section to achieve the Laboratory KPI.
To perform and contact to team leader immediately whenever system is out of specification. And take action and follow up until system is normal.
To perform chemical concentration analysis and water sample analysis including Jar test require at system.
Manage differences in results of samples to ensure the validity of test report. And need to analyse the sample until to get the ensure data.
To follow ISO (9001; 14001; 45001) standards to meet the department and company KPI.
Must work safely and efficiently in the performance of their job duties.
Other duties as assigned.

BE/B. Tech or diploma in Chemical Engineering or B. Sc (Chemistry).
5 years or more of experience in Power Plant or Process related Plant.
Ability to analysis and familiar with power plant water treatment system.
A Team Leader with good interpersonal skills.
Independent, self-initiated, positive attitude, and able to deliver results within tight deadlines.
Attention to detail and organization skills.
Passionate about and familiar with lab operation, calibration, and quality system.
Responsible and take pride in work.
Innovative and willingness to learn and adopt new ideas.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Able to speak, read and write simple English.
Team player with strong communication / interpersonal skills.
Computer knowledge with MS Office expertise.
