Job Summary

Logistic & Supply Chain Assistant Manager will coordinate end-to-end logistics, warehousing, and import/export operations for a trading and distribution company in Hlaingtharya, Yangon. The role ensures smooth delivery, accurate inventory control, and timely coordination with vendors and teams.

Key Responsibilities

● Plan and monitor daily logistics, warehouse, and distribution activities to ensure smooth operations.
● Coordinate import/export documentation, customs clearance, and shipment tracking with related teams.
● Manage stock accuracy, warehouse space, and inventory movement to support efficient order fulfillment.
● Communicate with suppliers, transport partners, and internal departments to resolve delivery issues.
● Review logistics costs, service levels, and operational reports to improve efficiency and control expenses.
● Support team supervision, work allocation, and process improvements across logistics functions.
● Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and trade regulations in all operations.

● Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
● Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, import/export, or supply chain operations.
● Proven experience in team coordination or supervisory role at assistant manager level.
● Strong knowledge of inventory control, shipping processes, and warehouse operations.
● Familiar with import/export documentation, customs procedures, and freight coordination.
● Good communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills with external partners.
● Able to analyze operational data and prepare accurate reports for management.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ERP or WMS experience is an advantage.
● Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities effectively.
● Strong leadership mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
