To ensure the continuous and efficient operation of all mechanical equipment in the distillery by performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on machinery used in production, fermentation, distillation, bottling, and utilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery such as pumps, gearboxes, valves, compressors, conveyors, boilers, and agitators.
• Follow PM schedules and complete maintenance logs and checklists.
• Diagnose mechanical issues in production and utility equipment quickly and effectively.
• Perform mechanical repairs or replacements on parts like bearings, seals, shafts, belts, couplings, and motors.
• Work closely with production, electrical, and automation teams to minimize downtime.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and 5S practices in the maintenance area.

Educational & Experience Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a distillery, brewery, food & beverage, or process plant.
• Experience with GMP, HACCP, or ISO standards is a plus.
• Key Skills and Competencies
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Familiarity with welding, fabrication, and machining is an advantage.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency repairs.
