1. Sales Strategy & Planning

* Develop and execute annual sales strategies aligned with company objectives.

* Prepare yearly, quarterly, and monthly sales plans and forecasts.

* Set sales targets by region, distributor, and product category.

* Identify growth opportunities and expansion plans.

 

2. Distributor Management

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors nationwide.

* Monitor distributor sales performance against targets.

* Conduct regular business reviews and performance evaluations.

* Ensure distributor compliance with company policies, pricing, and trade terms.

* Support distributors in improving sales coverage, route management, and execution.

 

3. Market Development & Execution

* Drive product distribution, availability, visibility, and merchandising standards.

* Monitor market penetration and identify new business opportunities.

* Lead sales initiatives, promotions, and trade activities.

* Ensure effective execution of sales and marketing programs in all regions.

 

4. Market Intelligence

* Collect and analyze market information, competitor activities, pricing, and consumer trends.

* Provide recommendations based on market insights.

* Monitor market share and sales performance indicators.

* Identify threats and opportunities within the market.

 

5. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

* Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors.

* Resolve customer and distributor issues promptly.

* Strengthen customer loyalty and business partnerships.

* Ensure high standards of customer service across all sales channels.

 

6. Budget Management

* Prepare and manage annual sales budgets.

* Monitor trade spending, promotional expenses, and operational costs.

* Ensure effective utilization of resources and budget control.

* Analyze return on investment (ROI) for sales activities.

 

7. Team Leadership & Development

* Lead, coach, and develop Regional Sales Managers and sales teams.

* Establish performance objectives and KPIs.

* Conduct regular performance reviews and training programs.

* Build a high-performance sales culture.

 

8. Cross-Functional Collaboration

* Collaborate closely with Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Production teams.

* Ensure alignment between demand planning and sales execution.

* Support new product launches and business development initiatives.

 

9. Negotiation & Business Development

* Lead commercial negotiations with distributors and key accounts.

* Negotiate trading terms, promotions, and annual business plans.

* Identify strategic partnerships to drive business growth.

 

10. Reporting & Analysis

* Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports.

* Analyze sales performance against targets.

* Present business updates and recommendations to senior management.

* Ensure timely and accurate reporting.

* Minimum 8–10 years of sales experience.

* Strong experience managing distributors and nationwide sales operations.

* Distributor management and channel development.

* Leadership and team development.

* Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
