JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Officer, the QC Supervisor directs and supervises the activities of the QA Analysit for proper monitoring of process parameters, calibration, application of test procedures and disposition of raw and packaging materials, semi-finished goods and finished products.

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

• Assists the function of the QA Officer for product Quality Assurance matters.
• Supervises the execution of QA Analysts to ensure conformance of products to standard.
• Prepares and ensures timely submission of QA reports. 
• Initiates improvement projects related to product quality. 
• Ensures consistent implementation, training and maintenance of ISO Standard, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Safety Procedures. 
• Coordinates with other plant heads and/or senior supervisors concerning quality aspects. 
• Ensures strict implementation and monitoring of product quality and standards. 
• Assists in the implementation of sanitation programs like GMP and 5S. 
• Coordinates with Production and Warehouse all problems related to quality control of plant operations and incoming/outgoing materials, respectively.
• Ensures that the standard set specifications are being met to attain good quality product.
• Responsible for other duties and responsibilities as specified in the QMS.
• Performs any other duty that may be assigned as necessary.

• Must be a graduate of Food Technology, B.Sc / MSc Chemistry (or) IC, B.Tech / BE (Chemical) or any related science course.
• With at least (3) years working experience in a quality control or quality assurance work in FMCG Industries
• With good supervisory skills in planning, organizing, leading and controlling.
• Must be decisive, hardworking, self-motivated, with initiative, can work well under pressure.
• Must know how to deal with people of all levels and has good moral character.
• Prefer Beverages Industry experience
