Position : Senior Site Engineer

Report to: Project Manager

Summary:

The Senior Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing daily site execution, technical accuracy, and contractor coordination across all project phases. This role ensures works strictly comply with project specifications, quality checklists, and safety protocols, while managing project schedules, variations, and site documentation.

Planning & Technical Execution

1. Gain a complete understanding of all relevant project specifications and structural/architectural drawings prior to the commencement of site works.
2. Monitor project progress from initial design through to final construction completion.
3. Supervise and coordinate the shop drawing process between technical design teams and site contractors.
4. Determine daily operational priorities, meet strict project deadlines, and balance competing site demands.

Quality Control, Contract & Scope Management

1. Execute quality control checklists to ensure all completed works adhere strictly to project specifications.
2. Thoroughly check the scope of work to identify all contract variations and changes, accurately recording information and providing timely feedback to the Project Manager.
3. Conduct project progress meetings with contractors, engineers, and sub-contractors to manage construction schedules and payment milestones.
4. Negotiate directly with contractors to resolve site disputes regarding work quality, technical deviations, or schedule delays.

Site Governance & Reporting

1. Prepare, organize, and maintain comprehensive site documentation and progress reports.
2. Attend site meetings whenever the Project Manager is unavailable and accurately record key discussion points and decisions.
3. Enforce health and safety regulations on-site, ensuring strict adherence to safe work procedures and method statements.

1.    Education: B.E (Civil) or AGTI (Civil) degree.
2.    Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in civil engineering/site management, with a proven ability to work independently.
Technical Skills:
3.    Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office applications (Excel/Word), and formal email correspondence.
4.    Ability to analyze complex project specifications to guarantee strict site compliance.
5.    Deep knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe work procedure method statements.
Soft Skills:
6.    Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills with high attention to detail.
7.    Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities..
