The Senior System Engineer leads system upgrades, migrations, and integrations, while also troubleshooting advanced issues and ensuring compliance with governance and security standards. They collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to IT strategy, architecture, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role oversees servers, storage, virtualization, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications, providing both technical leadership and hands-on support. This position requires strong technical expertise, project leadership skills, and the ability to align IT systems with business needs for performance and growth.


Key Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day operations, deployment, configure, and maintain infrastructure environments.
• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
• Lead system upgrades, migrations, and integrations across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and capacity.
• Ensure timely patch management and version upgrades.
• Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and business continuity strategies.
• Collaborate with application, network, and security teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Work with vendors and service providers for troubleshooting and project delivery.
• Document processes, create SOPs, and share knowledge with the team

• Hands-on experience with backup/DR tools, monitoring tools, and automation.
• Strong understanding of Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Relevant certifications preferred MCSE, RHCE, VMware VCP, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills to work effectively with internal cross-departments and customers.
• Ability to manage time and tasks across multiple ongoing projects.
