Job Purpose

To plan and optimize employee ferry routes and daily office vehicle assignments, effectively manage and lead a team of 20 to 30 drivers, and oversee fleet maintenance and fuel efficiency to ensure smooth, safe, and cost-effective transport operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ferry & Daily Route Optimization

• Plan and organize the most efficient, safe, and time-effective ferry routes for employees.
• Manage daily office transport requests and vehicle assignments (Way Planning) to maximize fleet utilization.
• Monitor traffic patterns and quickly adjust routes or provide alternative routes during delays, road closures, or emergencies.

2. Driver Management & Leadership

• Supervise and manage a team of 20–30 drivers, including duty rosters, shift schedules, and daily route assignments.

3. Fleet & Fuel Management

• Track daily vehicle mileage and monitor fuel consumption against mileage standards to prevent wastage or leakage.
• Coordinate routine vehicle maintenance (oil changes, tire checks, servicing), insurance renewals, and vehicle licensing.
• Handle vehicle breakdowns or roadside incidents promptly to minimize disruption to company operations.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Diploma in Logistics, Transport Management, or Business Administration is an advantage).
• Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of proven experience in fleet management, transport supervision, or logistics operations.
• Leadership Skills: Strong capability to manage, lead, and direct a driver workforce of 20–30 personnel firmly and fairly.
• Technical & Operational Knowledge:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local geography, traffic conditions, and optimal transport routes in Yangon.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) for tracking fuel logs, route plans, and driver schedules.
• Key Competencies:
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to manage off-hour transport emergencies and remain reachable via phone when necessary.
