ROLE PURPOSE  

A fast-growing bank in the country is looking for an Assistant Manager, who will be reporting to Senior Manager and provide administrative and financial tasks, including preparing of financial reports. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Assist in preparing Statutory, Management and Group financial reporting, including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and balance sheet schedules on daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. 
• Assist in preparing accounting papers and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.  
• Prepare clear and accurate technical accounting memorandums defining the accounting treatment under MFRS and IFRS  
• Support the accounting entry and accounts instructions to branches. 
• Assist in the management of all accounting procedures and systems used by the organization. 
• Liaise with internal and external auditors for audit process.  

• B.com or CPA or LCCI Level III  
• 3 to 5 years' experience in preparation of financial reports in manager role. 
• Audit   experience in well-known accounting firm will be an advantage. 
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and background, preferably in Financial Services industry. 

• Experience in leading commercial organization, banking or financial institution. 

• Understanding of organizational risk including credit, compliance and operational risk. 

• Knowledge of financial accounting & reporting 

• Self-starter able to work well independently with minimal supervision. 

• Manage time effectively and work well under pressure to meet deadline. 

• Team player willing and able to collaborate with associates at all levels.

• Ability to communicate (verbal and written) in both English and Myanmar languages.
