Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Executive cum Chinese Translator to join our team. This dual-role position requires a blend of business development acumen and Chinese language proficiency. The successful candidate will drive the growth of our business by identifying new market opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and facilitating communication with our Chinese-speaking partners and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

• Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities in target markets.
• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve company growth objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to foster business growth.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
• Negotiate and close business deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth

• Translation and Communication:

• Translate documents, presentations, and marketing materials from English to Chinese and vice versa.
• Act as an interpreter during meetings, negotiations, and conferences with Chinese-speaking clients and partners.
• Ensure accuracy and cultural appropriateness in all translated materials and communications.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents in Chinese.
• Facilitate smooth communication between the company and its Chinese-speaking stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of Chinese culture and business etiquette.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field.
• Experience working in a bilingual (Chinese-English) business environment.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.

Additional Information:

• This position may require travel to meet with clients and attend industry events.
• Candidates with additional language skills will be given preference.
