Role Description

The Camp Coordinator will be the main point of contact between all staff, third parties, campers and parents. He/she will ensure the campus safety and preparation of indoor and outdoor facilities before and after the camp each day. Once a week, campers will go on a field trip off-site. The Camp Coordinator must be involved in planning and executing the off-campus activities taking into account campers’ health and safety at all times. Depending on the performance, he/she may be considered for similar roles when opportunities arise besides the summer camp in the future.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Greet and welcome all campers each day
• Remain visible and accessible to staff and campers
• Always ensure the safety of the children and the integrity of the program
• Act as primary contact for parents, camp staff and third-party course providers
• Ensure third party course providers are accommodated when they are not running lessons
• At the end of each camp day, ensure all facilities are clean and tidy for the next camp day
• Make facility tours every morning before children arrive to ensure safety and preparation
• Lead meetings, organize schedules and do reporting as required
• Ensure on time arrival of third party course providers before classes begin each day
• Monitor the third-party services are up to standard

Requirements

• At least 2 years’ experience in event coordination preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Have excellent command of English
• Ability to work in a team or as an individual
• Desire to work with children
• Must exhibit patience, maturity and dependability
• Must be willing and able to lead during off campus trips
