Assist Check Out Manager in planning, organizing, managing, and controlling all related Check Out activities.
Maintains high level of customer service at all times. Closely monitors cash sales and shrinkage level from theft, damage, or cashier errors.
Oversees safety of cash, equipment maintenance, investigation activities, and cashier’s work schedule
Teach and ensure high level of customer service; display a sense of urgency and present a good example by greeting or thanking customers whenever possible
Ensure correctness of all Check Out operations for all transactions; perform adjustments for any error (wrong price, credit note error, etc
Strictly control and monitor Cashier and Cashier Helper performance; ensure a high level of shrink awareness by following proper Check Out policies and procedures (merchandise always transferred to an empty trolley during scanning, possibility of hidden merchandise, etc.)
Perform any other tasks as assigned
