Procurement

• Identifies on-demand assortment in the market and selects the most efficient suppliers for those assortments
• Develops and grows assortment to targeted number of SKU
• Managing and growing “electronic ” portfolio, including ongoing purchasing to ensure items remain in stock

Pricing

• Set assortment pricing to maintain best margin on each SKU
• Support marketing team in category specific promotions

Supplier management

• Identifies and negotiates with suppliers to grow our supplier base
• Monitors and evaluates current and future suppliers based on product quality, price and delivery service
• Negotiates payment terms with suppliers
• Negotiates and manages retailer/ customer promotion plans with suppliers

Performance management

• Manages the category to understand which products are best-selling, which channels are best etc.

To carry out any other duties or special assignment this may be assigned to you from time to time by supervisor.

• Obtained Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, procurement or supply chain. MBA preferred
• 3+ years of experience in strategic procurement or electronic category management
• Knowledge of procurement and passion for direct-to-consumer ecommerce business practices and operations
• Excellent computer skills
• Strong analytical, data-driven problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Entrepreneurial and driven to achieve desired outcomes
• Good stakeholder/ supplier management
• Ability to deal with ambiguity, work with changing priorities and proactive manner
• Ability to facilitate cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good understanding/ interest of digital tools/ technology and latest trends.
