• Prepare and present accurate financial reports to the Directors, including Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements
•  Supervise day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable,payroll, bank transactions, and general ledger
• Oversee and execute month-end and year-end closings, including external audit coordination
• Maintain robust financial controls with a focus on costing, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow monitoring
• Review and approve daily transactions, including advances, expense claims, and journal entries prepared by staff
• Monitor daily financial operations and flag discrepancies or irregularities
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Ensure compliance with local taxation laws (e.g., SGT, WHT, Commercial Tax, Corporate Tax) and timely tax filings
• Stay updated on and apply local financial laws and regulations affecting accounting, audit, and tax
• Analyze financial data for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with Myanmar
• Accounting Standards
• Reconcile bank statements, resolve discrepancies, and manage financial records
• Coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, and external consultants
• Support system improvements and help implement ERP or accounting software solutions
• Mentor and guide junior accounting team members to maintain performance standards

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
• LCCI Level III is mandatory equivalent
• ACCA or CPA (full or part-qualified) is preferred
• 5 years and above of practical accounting experience at senior capacity (hospitality or service industry experience is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of Myanmar tax regulations and statutory compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience using accounting software
• Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly to Chaung Thar site
