ROLE PURPOSE

• Part of the Architect Office and work with the Cybersecurity Office to create the cybersecurity strategy, architecture, roadmap and its projects.
• Lead and design the Security Architecture for applications and systems environments that are on-premise, cloud or as a hybrid.
• Works with Infrastructure Services and Application Development Teams to choose a technology solution and facilitate integration into the company environment.
• Have a thorough understanding of complex IT systems and stay up to date with the latest security standards, systems and authentication protocols, as well as best practice security products.

Knowledge & Skills

• Know how to design and develop security architectures for cloud hybrid based systems and applications.
• Knowledge of IT security solutions (Cloud Access Security Broker, Data Leakage Prevention, Multi Factor Authentication, Data Rights Management, etc.).
• Knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication and authorisation.
• Knowledge of security concepts related to DNS, including routing, authentication, VPN, proxy services, and DDOS mitigation.
• Knowledge of perimeter security controls such as routers, firewalls, IDS/IPS, network access controls, network segmentation, VLAN, etc.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and be proactive.
• Team player who can work collaboratively and is able to negotiate.
• Good communication skills and able to explain security concepts to stakeholders.

Education & Special Training

• Degree/Diploma in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computing, Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent.

Experience

• Experience with enterprise architecture for on-premise and cloud.
• Experience in information security risk assessments.
• Experience in implementing security solutions such as but not limited to multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, IAM, etc.
• Experience in Application Security Tools.
• Experience performing threat modeling and design reviews to assess security implications and requirements for introduction of new technologies.
• Experience with container deployment, orchestration, automation, and configuration management tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Gitlab, Jenkins, Jira).
• Experience architecting solutions within Azure, AWS and VMware NSX.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture for cloud-based services.
• Experience working with cloud security and governance tools, cloud access security brokers (CASBs), and server virtualization technologies.

Languages

• Working proficiency in English and Myanmar.
