RESPONSIBILITIES
Database Administrator is responsible for designing and maintaining the enterprise databases architecture; design and maintain metadata, data model, data flow diagram and data dictionary; a highly crucial role within Yoma Bank. This position is required to be on call 7/24/365.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provide expertise and guidance in the development and design of databases, stored procedures and query design to help ensure optimal performance, sociability and
reliability of application databases.
- Act as the subject matter expert regarding ETL and data migration and provide assistance to data warehouse development.
- Project Manage, lead and facilitate systems-level database architecture efforts and data repository migration projects.
- Work with development teams during the planning stages on projects involving the creation or major modification of a database, table or stored procedures.
- Act as the resource to business units, IT staff and management in regards to strategic direction for database technologies and best practices.

- Strong knowledge of database design, query cost and performance measurement, use of stored procedures and performance tuning, ETL spell out processes, data transfer
and data migration methods.

Education & Special Training
Essential
- Database Management Systems or related discipline or equivalent professional experience.

Experience
Essential
- Minimum of 3 years of experience developing and maintaining relational databases in support of desktop or web based software. PL/SQL experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Oracle Database (12c preferred). A qualified OCP (Oracle Certified Professional) with Database will be advantageous.
Desirable
- Experience in the Banking sector is a plus

Languages
Essential
- Working proficiency in Myanmar and English is a plus.
