Potion Title :  Deputy Design Manager

Summary :

1. Assist in overseeing the design process from concept to completion stage.
2. Assist in reviewing designs for compliance of authority rules and regulation and feedback to the consultants for design amendments.
3. Assist to provide Senior Management’s comments feedback to the consultants and offer technical expertise to help improve designs.
4. Assist in delivering design/tender/construction drawings to keep up with project schedule.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing, implementing, and managing all design aspects of the development pipeline works from inception to completion which include preparation of conceptual design as per client’s brief.
• Assist in managing all aspects of architectural design works from Schematic Design Phase until the Final Completion Phase. This shall include overseeing design progress of external consultants and providing design directions, checking architectural and all related design drawings and specification according to industry standards.
• Coordinate and review of architectural drawings in conjunction with structural, electrical and mechanical drawings to assure that design drawings are compiled to client brief, project development and all related authority compliance.
• Review and comment shop drawings during the construction to comply with construction document and specifications. 
• Participate in design meetings / briefings / presentation / consultants / site visit / inspection and to prepare reports, spreadsheets & minutes of meetings accordingly.
• Tracks design delivery schedule to keep up with project timeline.
• Perform additional assignments per Management’s direction. 

 Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture required.

1. Minimum 5 years in architectural design experience or related fields required.
2. Strong communication skills in teams and ability to work independently.
3. Proficient knowledge and skill in English technical writing and preparing concise presentations to all levels of the business.
4. Proficiency in producing drawings and presentation using AutoCAD, SketchUp and MS Office Skills required.
5. Oversea Experience & Chinese (Mandarin) considered a plus.
