Shwe Taung Infrastructure Investments is currently seeking a manager who can manage Finance team for Deedoke Hydropower Project in Mandalay Region and ensure the effectiveness of overall Finance functions.

The Finance manager will report directly to Deputy Managing Director – Finance (and to the Project Lead and Deputy Project Lead until the Managing Director is appointed) and below are listed main responsibilities of the post holder:

• To support Company’s finance and accounting matters; including maintaining day to day accounts, preparation of budgets, financial statements; project cost management, statutory and management reports
• To set up systems and operating procedures in place to enable international standard reporting and bookkeeping of Company’s accounts
• To support processes for loans; to provide any necessary finance and accounting related information, to ensure timely reporting and compliance (including among others, regulatory and financing requirements/covenants) and any other requirements
• To oversee and monitor that all finance and accounting works are conducted with necessary quality, in a timely manner, with cost-effective methods
• To ensure internal controls are in place, adhered to and monitored
• To coordinate with all internal divisions and teams to ensure timely and accurate budget preparations and compliance with established budgets
• To support overall project management and coordination work as required

• Degree holder in Accounting / Finance or related disciplines
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience with management role, Hydropower/ Infrastructure sector is highly preferred
• Qualified Accountant with CPA/ACCA or equivalent
• With strong analytical & business sense, problem solving and presentation skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritizes work
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent in English and Myanmar
• Familiar with Myanmar tax regulations
• Proficiency in MS Office

Workplace characteristics
Full time work station in Mandalay Office/Site Office. Overtime might be necessary from time to time especially close to deadlines. Occasional trips to Yangon and Nay Pyi Taw as and when required for meetings.
Note: Initial workplace in Yangon and move to Mandalay after 6-12 months
