ROLE PURPOSE

Yoma Bank’s Treasury department is looking for a highly motivated individual who as Senior FI Associate will support and assist the Senior Manager in day-to-day tasks of maintaining and developing service relationships with financial institutions clients.

• Active communication and coordination with Yoma Bank’s correspondence banks for both routine business dealings and resolving issues arising from time to time.
• Support product salesforce in their efforts to obtain new business and retain existing relationships for the bank.
• Partners consistently with other internal business partners to uncover opportunities to deepen the client relationship.
• Facilitate bi-annual and annual due diligence on Yoma Bank.
• Set up regular courtesy calls with correspondent banks.
• Provide compliance/AML/KYC updates.
• Onboard key financial institutions partnerships for the bank.
• Develops and maintains an in-depth knowledge of products and services as well as knowledge of competitors and competitive products.
• Proactively promotes and cross-markets bank products and services, and keeps client informed of special promotions.
• Progressively be informed of changing regulatory compliance requirements.

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree preferably in the field of Marketing and Communication/ Business Administration.
• Any proficiency certification on Banking and Finance domain.
• Minimum 3 years of professional proven skills and experience as a relationship manager for Financial Institutions.
• Proven track record of prospecting new business, enhancing existing relationships and building new relationships.
• Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills.
• Well-organized and reliable.
• Able to recognize the audience’s level of understanding and awareness of required follow up actions.
• Manage time effectively and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Team player willing and able to collaborate with associates at all levels.
• Self-starter able to work well independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to identify business improvement opportunities and considers current & future client needs in proposing ideas.
• Excellent communication in both Myanmar and English.
