Manage the daily operations of the vehicle fleet to ensure maximum availability and utilization.
Plan, monitor, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
Ensure all vehicles are clean, safe, roadworthy, and meet company standards.
Maintain up-to-date records for registration, insurance, GPS, and inspection certificates.
Oversee vehicle repairs and liaise with workshops for timely service completion.
Monitor fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and overall fleet operating expenses.
Implement strategies to reduce costs while maintaining service quality.
Track and report key fleet KPIs (utilization rate, downtime, repair cost, etc.)
Supervise fleet supervisors and driver teams.
Allocate vehicles and assign drivers according to bookings and needs.
Conduct regular training on vehicle handling, safety, and company procedures.
Evaluate driver performance and ensure compliance with driving policies.
Ensure all fleet operations comply with local transport laws and insurance requirements.
Handle accident reports, claims, and follow-up processes with relevant parties.
Keep accurate documentation of vehicle status, maintenance logs, and incident records.
Work closely with the booking, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless vehicle dispatch.
Coordinate with external workshops, insurance companies, and regulatory authorities.
Monitor fleet-related expenses (fuel, maintenance, repairs)
Analyze cost efficiency of fleet operations
Manage insurance costs and claims
Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers
Evaluate cost-benefit of vehicle procurement and disposal
Control expenses related to driver allowances and overtime

လိုအပ္ေသာအရည္အခ်င္း

Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering or any graduated
Diploma or certificate in Fleet Management, Transport Operations, or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Additional certifications in Defensive Driving, Vehicle Maintenance, Fleet Management Systems, or Risk & Compliance Management
Relevant educational background in Automotive Engineering, Business, or logistics
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fleet management or a related industry
Proven experience managing a fleet of over 100 vehicles
