• Develop and design exploration and drilling programmes for a variety of Myanmar clients;
• Supervise Intermediate and Junior level geology staff and field staff in the execution of exploration and drilling programs;
• Undertake liaison with clients on technical details of program and reporting of progress and results;
• Review, compile, interpret and report on exploration data from previous exploration programmes;
• Undertake liaison with DGSE and MONREC officials on technical issues as required;
• Produce high quality, well presented reports (in Myanmar and English);
• Assist in preparation of client proposals, and verbal and written delivery of proposals for existing and new clients;

TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Proven previous mineral exploration experience in several Myanmar geological terrains and mineral deposit styles;
• Previous Mine experience not necessary but would be an advantage;
• Previous international experience well regarded.
PERSONAL SKILLS
• Well-developed leadership and team management skills;
• Ability to supervise, guide and train junior staff;
• Ability to meet deadlines for all tasks and work well under time pressure;
• Strong technical and non-technical communication skills;
• Ability to travel extensively in Myanmar, and work in the field for extended periods of up to several weeks;
• Ability to travel internationally as required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
• High proficiency in both written and spoken English;
• Other foreign language skills well regarded.
COMPUTER SKILLS
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), ARCGIS, Global Mapper and other mapping software.
• Experience in 3D modelling software (Micromine, Vulcan, etc) well regarded
Qualification Background
• B.Sc. degree in Geology minimum / M.Sc. degree in Geology preferred
• Diploma in GIS/RS preferred
