On behalf of our Client, a farm equipment supplier. We are looking for a: Head of Operation (Rice Mill Department) to be based at their offices in Ayarwaddy Region, Myanmar.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Understands different variety of rice and price trend and able to make good purchase decision
• Ensures purchase paddy quality
• Develops procurement network and liaises with rice mills owner and big famers
• Establishes quarterly procurement plan and budget
• Establishes good manufacture standard in factory operations
• Performs to gain relevant ISO certification for factory
• Ensures operators are compliance to health and safety standard
• Ensures proper warehousing of inventory and paddy quality in silo storage
• Develops quarterly sales plan for both factory production and local procurement
• Maintains the relationship with current overseas clients and expands the network
• Develops new market for the rice mill (EU and others ASEAN nations)
• Conducts all the export process and documentation requirement
• Liaises with shipping line and local logistic provider to meet rice export logistic need

Job Requirements

• University degree in any major subject
• At least 5 years of experience in rice trading industry
• Experience in handling container and bulk vessel loading
• Having experience in using ERP
• Must have knowledge of local rice industry stakeholders - such as Myanmar Rice Federation, local major rice mill owner or exporters
• Good command of English Language
• Can speak Chinese Language
• Willing to travel as business trips
