Responsibilities

• Coordinate international logistics, including shipping, customs clearance, and transportation for import and export operations.

• Prepare and manage documentation, including Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, and customs declarations.

• Ensure compliance with all import/export laws and regulations, staying updated on trade policies and country-specific requirements

• Resolve issues related to delayed shipments, customs holds, or regulatory non- compliance.

• Develop and manage the procurement strategy, policies, and processes to support business objectives and ensure continuous supply of goods and services

• Conduct supplier evaluations, negotiate terms, and establish contracts to achieve cost savings and maintain high-quality standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, forecast demand, and streamline the procurement process

• Ensure procurement aligns with the company's sustainability, quality, and ethical standards

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement and logistics. professionals, fostering a high-performance culture

• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve overall supply chain resilience

• Strong knowledge in MIC, MOC & OSS documents

Experience & Qualification

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in import/export operations and procurement management, with a strong understanding of logistics, trade compliance, and MIC, MOC, OSS and customs regulations
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening).
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of customs regulations, import/export procedures, and documentation requirements
• Able to work under pressure and must be result oriented
• Must be able to perform related ad-hoc duties if needed
