Job Purpose:

To take ownership of end to end enterprise architecture process linking the business mission, strategy, and processes of the organization to its IT strategy, and documents this using multiple architectural models or views that show how the current and future needs of an organization will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile, secured and adaptable manner.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Ensure understanding of Enterprise Architecture policy, procedures and different components in the IT landscape, to ensure alignment and compliance with legal regulations and with Telenor Group’s overall direction, standards and governance.
2. Perform Business Analysis activities including but not limited to requirement gathering, requirement analysis, business requirement specification, functional requirement specification.
3. Develop different architectural models based on the current and future needs which is align with overall architecture policy and the organization’s strategy.
4. Ensure the best architectural models is selected considering the risks, possible short falls to meet organization’s quality standard.
5. Drive architecture forum process to develop and review architecture models based on operational, security, infrastructure, scalability and business strategy inputs.
6. Ensure proper impact analysis is done from different system perspectives for all new requirements before development starts.
7. Ensure proper effort estimates is done based on the selected architectural models for the new requirements before development starts.
8. Execute delivery of the architecture models and impact analysis as per the plan while taking appropriate actions to address the issues and communicate the status to all stakeholders regularly.
9. Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders such as business users, different vendors, technical experts and subject matter experts
10. Coordinate and negotiate with vendors/partners, to ensure alignment with initial agreement as well as optimal benefit for the company
11. Provide inputs and participate to support test scenario development and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) activities, in order to ensure that the solutions are developed according to predefined specifications to meet requirements of the different IT projects and programs
12. Support other relevant functions by providing general advices and information on business and technical preconditions and processes, to ensure alignment of project delivery with business requirements
13. Perform other architectural functions for different IT projects, ensuring assigned projects operation readiness, as well as keeping record of technical documentation to support decision-making, in order to ensure smooth business operations
14. Take technical ownership of the different IT Systems/Projects and take necessary technical decisions considering technology trends, industry best practices and organizations strategy.
15. Ensure proper research is done on the new technology to support current and future needs of the organization
16. Be accountable for other certain works as assigned from immediate superior level

Required Experiences & Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree or higher in IT
• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture and design in Telecom
• Good inter-personal skills, Proactive, Self-motivated, Fast learner
• Can do attitude and Efficient communications both English and Myanmar
• Proactive and goal-oriented team player with a positive attitude
• Experience working in cross-functional teams, across a matrix environment and leading the teams
• Experience in Software Engineering, Business Analyst, System Design and Enterprise Architecture
• Experience in database design, MIS Reporting/BI and Big Data will be beneficial
