1. Team Leadership & Coordination

Lead and manage the Recovery Loan Collection Team to ensure effective recovery operations.

Collaborate with Regional and Branch Managers to coordinate with Field-level Collection Officers across different regions.

Set clear targets for Recovery Loan and provide the necessary support and guidance to achieve them.

2. Collection Strategy Development

Develop and implement strategies and policies to ensure efficient recovery of recovery loans.

Monitor and review the Recovery Plans, adjusting where necessary to improve effectiveness.

3. Performance Monitoring

Regularly track and evaluate Recovery KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis.

Review the performance and achievement levels of recovery loan and take necessary actions for improvement.

4. Training & Capacity Building

Participate in and support training programs for Collection Officers and Branch Managers, focusing on effective recovery techniques and legal procedures.

Provide continuous coaching, mentoring, and capacity building to strengthen staff competencies and ensure sustainable performance improvement.

5. Stakeholder Communication

Coordinate and collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Operations Departments to support recovery-related activities.

Prepare and submit regular reports on recovery performance and progress to the Management Team.

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree holders will be given preference.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in microfinance, banking, or financial services.
• At least 3 years of experience in leadership, managerial, or supervisory role.
• Strong experience in team management and regional operations, with a solid understanding of microfinance processes and loan recovery procedures
• Ability to operate in full compliance with institutional policies, legal, and regulatory frameworks.
• Must be able to travel to Hana branch offices for monitoring and field supervision as required.
• Prior experience in loan recovery operations will be an added advantage.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High sense of accountability, responsibility, and integrity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, reporting tools, and loan management systems.
