Duty and Responsibilities

• Managing head office/branches operational incidents including the root causes analysis as well as discussing with the relevant stakeholders
• Performing the operational risk assessment of the head office/branches operations and assist in developing key control testing  
• Providing risk related training to uplift the risk culture and awareness of the bank
• Developing the learning contents and materials related to the operational risk
• Providing inputs in key projects and initiative of the department
• Monitoring the key risk indicators of the head office/branches and preparing the monthly risk reporting in a timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED 

Knowledge & Skills 

• A sound knowledge of banking in the Myanmar market, gained through practical experience
• Have good organizational skills and time management abilities
• Adapts easily to new environment and can work with a variety of stakeholders
• Excellent team worker, collaborating effectively across divisions
• Organized, with good attention to detail and ability to effectively prioritize tasks
• Having analytical skill to perform the root cause analysis and should be able to provide recommendation
• Having the leadership capabilities and able to influence your team member as well as the other colleagues
• Must have a good presentation and reporting skills to address the findings effectively
• Must be able to use Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and E-mail and be able to type fluently in Burmese and English
• Must be able to negotiate and communicate with different stakeholders

Education & Special Training 

• Degree in one of the following fields: Business/Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, and/or any industry specific qualification
• Knowledge in data analysis and risk management

Experience 

• At least 2-year experience in banking and financial institutions
• Knowledge of banking and risk management within the bank 

Languages 

• Sound and effective interpersonal & communication skills
