This job will play a key role in procuring high-quality and cost-efficient supplies for our organization through procurement procedures and be responsible for approving purchases. Also, it will include to source suppliers, maintain an updated list of current and incoming inventory and vendor management, etc.
Key Responsibilities
-Sourcing Suppliers: Identify potential suppliers, conduct market research, and assess their capabilities, quality, and pricing to determine the best sources for goods and services.
-Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements, including favorable pricing, payment terms, and service levels.
-Vendor Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, monitoring their performance and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
-Purchase Order Management: Generate and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
-Cost Control: Implement cost reduction strategies and monitor expenses to optimize the procurement process and minimize costs.
-Quality Control: Ensure that purchased goods and services meet quality standards and specifications.
-Compliance: Ensure that the procurement process complies with legal , HSE and ethical requirements.
-Inventory Management: Work closely with relevant teams to maintain appropriate stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
-Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and emerging suppliers to make informed procurement decisions.
