Safety Officer (Assistant Manager Level)

• Location: Yangon, GBS Head Office (Hlaing Township)
• Department: Corporate Admin Department
• Reporting Line: Admin Manager (with dotted line to Assistant Head of Admin & Head of Admin)

About the Role

This role supports the Corporate Admin Department in driving workplace safety, health, and environmental standards across all GBS branches, factories, and operational assets. The position ensures proactive safety practices, regulatory compliance, and continuous awareness-building across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture and preventive mindset across all sites.

• Conduct incident investigations and identify root causes of unsafe conditions.

• Deliver safety-related training and awareness programs to employees.

• Ensure compliance with relevant government safety regulations.

• Coordinate MOHS-related activities and prepare periodic reports.

• Support safety inspections across branches, factories, and operational units.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to company safety policies.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, prefer Manufacturing HSE background

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in workplace safety, environmental health, or related field.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

• Knowledgeable in safety standards and health regulations.

• Willing to travel frequently across Myanmar.

• Age under 35 preferred.
