This position will be responsible for providing administrative and documentation function in Underwriting team.

  • To administer and document client cases referred to by New Business team from time to time.
  • To enquire and follow-up with panel hospitals on cases with medical underwriting in conducting the various medical examinations and tests and the interpretation of certain medical reports.
  • To liaise with other departments and/or divisions of Life Insurance Myanmar Ltd.
  • To help underwriter resolve or clarify with specific empaneled hospital or clinic when there is unusual or high-risk result found in medical result.
  • To check and document information and follow up the work procedures for smooth processes.
  • To help uphold COMPANY’s firm commitment to professional excellence by applying medical science to ensure the adoption of best practices when performing underwriting on our customers, and to give fair risk assessment results.
  • To attend Underwriting and Claims Committee meetings and any other meetings or classes or sessions internally or externally which are held on a timely basis at COMPANY office premises or other places.
  • To report the status and cases to Underwriting Manger according to weekly or monthly basis.
  • To participate in COMPANY’s other CSR (Social Responsibility) activities locally or abroad.
  • Any other ad hoc duties assigned by Manager.

လိုအပ္ေသာအရည္အခ်င္း

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, Insurance, or a related field. Insurance certifications are a plus.
  • Over 2 years of experiences in the insurance industry (experience of life insurance company is a plus)
  • Sound knowledge of insurance concepts and administrative duties.
  • Effective spoken and written communication skills (grammatically), including giving presentation, in both Burmese and English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interest in an insurance career and willingness to learn continuously with a positive attitude.
