Job Purpose:

 

The Senior Manager, Solution Delivery Management provides strategic leadership and oversight across multiple IT projects and programs, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals, governance standards, and regulatory requirements. The role is accountable for driving delivery excellence through effective planning, stakeholder engagement, vendor coordination, risk management, and team leadership. By ensuring high-quality execution and business alignment, this role plays a critical part in enabling successful digital transformation and operational efficiency.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure Compliance with Delivery Frameworks: Establish a clear understanding and adherence to solution delivery policies, procedures, and processes for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of various IT projects and programs.
  • Governance and Regulatory Alignment: Ensure all delivery activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements, and align with Atom’s strategic direction, standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Business Analysis and Requirements Management: Lead business analysis efforts, including requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation, ensuring accurate translation of business needs into functional specifications.
  • Comprehensive Project Planning: Develop end-to-end project plans encompassing project charters, work breakdown structures, timelines, resource allocations, risk assessments, and communication strategies.
  • Project Execution and Progress Monitoring: Drive the execution of project plans, continuously monitor progress, proactively address risks and issues, and ensure regular and transparent communication with all stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Facilitate effective collaboration and communication with internal business stakeholders, external vendors, technical teams, and subject matter experts to ensure delivery success.
  • Vendor and Partner Coordination: Manage vendor and partner relationships, ensuring contractual alignment, timely delivery, and optimization of value to the organization.
  • Quality Assurance and Testing Support: Contribute to the development of test scenarios, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure that delivered solutions meet predefined business and technical requirements.
  • Cross-functional Support and Advisory: Provide guidance and consultative support to related functions regarding technical constraints, business processes, and delivery considerations to align project outcomes with organizational needs.
  • Operational Readiness and Documentation: Ensure all assigned projects are operationally ready, maintain comprehensive technical documentation, and manage project expenditures for transparency and cost efficiency.
  • Resource Planning and Monitoring: Oversee resource planning, allocation, and utilization for all delivery initiatives, ensuring efficient deployment aligned with project timelines and objectives.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other responsibilities and initiatives as assigned by senior leadership, contributing to continuous improvement and strategic delivery goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or Business; Master’s degree or MBA is a strong advantage.
  • Certified in PMP, Prince2, or Agile frameworks (Scrum Master, SAFe, etc.).

Experience:

  • 10 to 14 years of progressive experience in IT delivery roles.
  • Minimum 3–5 years in a project/program management leadership position.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Telecommunication domain.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects and external vendors/partners.

Key Skillsets (3 - 5 skillsets):

  1. Expertise in end-to-end IT delivery lifecycle.
  2. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects or a large program.
  3. Strong financial acumen for budgeting, cost control, and vendor contracts.
  4. Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication.
  5. Advanced problem-solving, conflict resolution, and team leadership.
  6. Experience in telecom domain or enterprise-scale systems is preferred.
  7. Tool Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management tools
