Job Purpose:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in Infrastructure and Web Development to join our Business Group engineering team. This role requires both backend infrastructure expertise and frontend/backend web application development skills. You will help build scalable systems, maintain cloud / local infrastructure, and deliver high-quality web applications that power our products and services.

Key Accountabilities

Infrastructure :

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable cloud or local infrastructure (e.g.,VM Ware, AWS, Azure).
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for smooth application delivery and operations.
• Ensure observability through robust monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Improve system reliability, fault tolerance, and performance.

Web Development:

• Develop and maintain web applications (frontend and backend), ensuring responsiveness and performance.
• Work with modern frameworks such as Laravel and Vue.js.
• Build and maintain backend APIs and services using Laravel, Node.js, Python, Go, or similar.
• Integrate infrastructure and deployment strategies directly with web application delivery.
• Collaborate closely with design, product, and QA teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Ensure web security, performance optimization, and adherence to best coding practices.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, including both infrastructure and web development roles.
• Strong experience with modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Python, REST APIs).

Experience:

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, VM-ware or Azure).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages (PHP, Node.js, Python, Go).
• Solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application management.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.

Key Skillsets (3 - 5 skillsets):

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and service mesh tools (Istio, Linkerd).
• Experience with frontend frameworks (PHP, Node.js, Vue).
• Exposure to database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Click House).
• Experience with performance optimization and web accessibility.
• Knowledge of security best practices (OWASP, IAM, TLS, etc.).
• Previous experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
