MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY

1. The Fresh Supervisor is responsible for managing and accountable for all aspects of the Fresh Food operation of the store.
2. The Fresh Supervisor will be in charge of the department sales and profit generation while minimizing stock level and maximizing efficiency, managing shrinkage to budgeted targets.
3. The Fresh Supervisor is required to train, manage and coach senior staff and basic staff, oversee the inventory and ordering of product and supplies, and arrange for the routine maintenance and upkeep of the equipment and facilities.
4. The Fresh Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary food service environment (GMP Requirements).

Job Requirement

1. Bachelor degree (in Food Science, Food Technology, Agriculture, or Hospitality) is preferable— not essential
2. At least 2 years of experience as relevant position as on Fresh Food Department in a reputable supermarket or food service
