Lead and oversee the preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and Company policies. Prepare, review, and present management financial reports, dashboards, and financial insights for Senior Management, highlighting key financial performance, trends, variances, risks, and areas requiring management attention. Translate financial data into meaningful business insights and recommendations to support Senior Management in business planning, performance monitoring, resource allocation, and decision-making. Review and analyze the Company’s financial performance, including revenue, expenses, profitability, assets, liabilities, cash flow, and key financial indicators, and identify key drivers and emerging financial trends. Lead the preparation and review of budget vs. actual and forecast analysis, investigate significant variances, identify underlying business drivers, and provide recommendations for corrective actions and improved financial performance. Oversee the integrity and consistency of financial data by ensuring appropriate reconciliations, validation, review, and reporting controls are in place across financial and management reports. Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure the timely and accurate submission of financial, operational, and regulatory information required for financial reporting and management analysis. Provide financial input and analysis for business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives, including financial projections, business cases, and scenario analysis where required. Evaluate the financial impact of business initiatives and provide commercial and financial recommendations to support sustainable growth, cost efficiency, and effective resource utilization. Monitor key financial and business performance indicators and proactively identify financial risks, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement, escalating significant matters to Senior Management where appropriate. Ensure financial reporting and management information are aligned with the Company’s strategic objectives and business priorities, providing relevant insights to facilitate effective management decisions. Ensure Finance Division activities comply with the Company’s risk management policies, internal controls, governance requirements, accounting standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. Lead, supervise, and develop the Financial Reporting team, ensuring effective performance, technical capability, knowledge sharing, and achievement of departmental objectives.
Manage day-to-day office administration operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workplace. Oversee office facilities, maintenance activities, ensuring proper functionality and safety compliance. Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with internal stakeholders and external service providers. Manage office supplies, assets, and procurement processes, including vendor sourcing and quotation comparison. Handle contracts, service providers, and vendor relationships to ensure quality service delivery and cost efficiency. Monitor facility-related budgets, expenses, and maintenance records. Coordinate office renovations, repairs and workplace improvement initiatives. Handle correspondence, documentation, and filing (physical and digital records). Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and security requirements. Support business operations through effective administrative and logistical arrangements.
Build company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees, enforcing ethical business practices. Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients. Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the area you have been assigned. Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry and positioning. Follow the latest industry development and stay up to date on corporate competitors. Manage and maintain relationships with existing corporate clients. Find and develop new business opportunities. Promote additional insurance products to existing clients (cross-sell/up-sell). Enter and update policy data for Motor, IAR, Travel, Health, and PA insurance. Submit underwriting approval requests for new business cases. Follow up on policy issuance and underwriting requirements. Collect premiums and follow up on outstanding payments. Deliver policy documents and renewal certificates to clients. Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping.
Research and source potential clients and build long-term relationships with them. Persuade prospective clients to engage in a phone conversation and/or meeting to discuss insurance products. Advise clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs. Deliver approved policies to new clients and explain benefits and risks of the policy. Contact potential clients and create rapport by networking, cold calling, using referrals etc. Check insurance claims to solidify trust and safeguard reputation. Hit Monthly targets and fulfilling AYA SOMPO established policy obligations. Perform other relevant tasks assigned by Unit leader/Manager.
