  • Serve as the primary contact on behalf of AYA SOMPO with Japanese-speaking clients, partners and stakeholders.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and offering tailored insurance solutions.
  • Target industries include manufacturing, trading, logistics, construction, banking, education and government organizations.
  • Translate business documents, presentations and communication materials between Japanese and English/Myanmar (as required).
  • Facilitate smooth communication between local teams and Japanese counterparts.
  • Assist in identifying business opportunities within the Japanese market segment.
  • Support the sales team in delivering presentations and proposals to Japanese-speaking clients.
  • Handle insurance claims, queries, and policy changes for Japanese clients.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Provide insights on Japanese culture and business etiquette to ensure effective collaboration and relationship building.
  • Promote cross-cultural understanding within the team.

လိုအပ်သောအရည်အချင်း

  • Proficiency in Japanese and English (both written and spoken).
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Insurance or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience within the Japanese Business Environment.
  • Prior experience working with Japanese clients or in a multicultural environment is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Familiarity with insurance products, policies and claims processes.
  • Preferred: Experience in non-life insurance, insurance broking or working with Japanese companies overseas.
