Design, develop, install, maintain, and improve electrical systems, equipment, components, instruments, and facilities for industrial and commercial applications.
Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by conducting research, testing, and analysis in accordance with technical requirements and applicable standards.
Design and implement testing methods to verify the performance, reliability, quality, and safety of electrical systems and finished products.
Develop and improve electrical products and manufacturing processes by researching customer requirements, materials, equipment, assembly methods, and production techniques.
Prepare and review electrical designs, technical drawings, specifications, layouts, and related engineering documents to ensure compliance with standards and customer requirements.
Perform detailed engineering calculations and establish technical specifications, manufacturing requirements, installation standards, and project requirements.
Operate computer-aided engineering and design software and other relevant engineering tools to perform design and technical tasks.
Coordinate and supervise electrical installation, construction, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and repair activities to ensure compliance with approved specifications, codes, safety standards, and schedules.
Inspect completed installations and monitor equipment operations to ensure conformity with design specifications, operational requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Investigate electrical system issues, equipment failures, customer complaints, and operational problems, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Conduct field surveys and analyze technical data, maps, diagrams, reports, and system information to identify and resolve electrical and power system issues.
Investigate and evaluate vendors’ and competitors’ products, materials, and technologies to support product development and engineering improvements.
Prepare technical specifications and recommendations for the procurement of electrical materials, equipment, components, and services.
Support the planning and development of capital projects, including new equipment installations, system upgrades, expansions, and major repairs.
Prepare project budgets and cost estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, installation, construction, and other related expenses.
Monitor project progress and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure projects are completed according to quality standards, timelines, specifications, and approved budgets.
Work closely with engineers, technicians, customers, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to discuss existing and potential engineering projects and resolve technical issues.
Develop and maintain product, equipment, testing, and engineering databases and records; prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing relevant data and trends.
Ensure electrical equipment remains operational by following manufacturers’ instructions, established maintenance procedures, and safety requirements, and by coordinating repair and maintenance services when required.
Maintain compliance with applicable electrical codes, regulatory requirements, company policies, quality standards, and health and safety procedures.
Provide technical guidance, training, and supervision to technicians and project team members as required.
Maintain up-to-date professional and technical knowledge through training, workshops, technical publications, professional networks, and industry developments.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the team in achieving departmental and organizational objectives.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the processing plant.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and coordinate timely solutions.
Work closely with Production, Process, and Health & Safety Managers to ensure smooth and safe plant operations.
Collaborate with plant designers and engineers in the design and development of machinery, electrical systems, and other equipment.
Coordinate and communicate with EI and the Government Electrical Department to obtain necessary approvals and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.

Should possess a recognized degree in a relevant discipline.
AGTI or BE in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or other relevant qualifications.
Strong knowledge of electronic systems, troubleshooting, testing, and design.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze information and prepare research reports.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and excellence.
Innovative mindset with the ability to identify and implement improvements.
Must be computer literate and proficient in email, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint presentation preparation.
Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D is required.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and analyze relevant information to address complex and practical issues.
