An Exciting Opportunity for ...

Manage the full Import License (IL) process from annual planning through approval based on business import requirements.
Apply import license under the approved annual quota and closely monitor quota utilization, and ensure the application is within quota and regulatory requirements.
Track all applications and proactively follow up with relevant organizations to avoid delays.
Maintain a strong working network with relevant government organizations, import-related authorities to stay updated on requirements and process changes.
Monitor changes in import regulations, related regulatory updates and communicate business impact in a timely manner.
Coordinate with other Procurement Managers and category owners on their IL requirements, application status, approvals and outstanding issues.
Maintain an overall IL tracker, including quota, approved value, utilized value, remaining balance, application status and expiry dates.
Maintain complete and accurate records of importation process and other import-related documents for audit and compliance requirements.
Provide regular updates and reports to CPSCO on quota utilization, IL status, pending approvals and key regulatory issues.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, International Trade or a related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in import, procurement, supply chain or regulatory processes; management-level experience is preferred.
Strong practical experience with Myanmar import procedures and Import License applications.
Good working knowledge of importation process and procedures.
Experience in managing annual quota and IL applications is strongly preferred.
Good understanding of import documentation, customs clearance and government approval processes.
Strong communication and coordination skills with government organizations and internal stakeholders.
Well-established professional network and ability to obtain timely information on changes in import regulations and procedures.
Strong follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple IL applications, deadlines and priorities at the same time.
Good analytical and reporting skills, especially for quota and IL value tracking.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
Good command of English and Myanmar, both written and spoken.
High level of integrity, confidentiality and compliance awareness when dealing with government and regulatory matters.
