PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Develop and implement the commercial strategy, execution plan and continuous improvement cycle for TOFT, defining where to play, how to win and what to do across Traditional OFF Trade. 

RESPONSIBILITY 

  • Channel Strategy: Formalise and regularly review TOFT strategy, with clear priorities, growth choices and winning actions
  • Channel Activation: Plan, implement and track TOFT activations, ensuring Picture of Success standards are delivered across permanent and promotional visibility
  • Continuous Improvement Cycle: Embed continuous improvement methodology to ensure commercial plans are delivered effectively in market and learnings are captured for future cycles
  • Team Management: Build a performance-driven, customer-oriented and accountable team. Develop team members through tailored development plans, core competency building and succession planning
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with Field Sales, Brand Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and distributor teams to align priorities and drive implementation
  • PICOS & EOE: Define PICOS for TOFT (Traditional OFF Trade), ensure guideline compliance and drive excellent outlet standards
  • SMAP: Develop and manage the SMAP cycle plan, ensuring timely implementation and follow-up
  • Channel visibility & Activation: Lead TOFT visibility and activation plans to improve in-store presence and customer experience
  • Commercial calendar and budgeting: Build the annual commercial calendar and manage BTL budget phasing, tracking, utilization and ROI discipline.
  • POSM management: Manage the POSM process and ensure deployment is delivered against guidelines
  • Channel performance management: Manage TOFT performance through regular review routines, provide a clear dashboard, and use KPIs to drive growth actions and corrective interventions
  • Integrated commercial Plan: Develop the TOFT ICP and implement agreed JTBDs
  • Key project management: Define and deliver key TOFT projects that support business growth and strengthen execution capability
  • Channel data & insights management: Establish channel data and insight processes, ensuring implementation meets business requirements and supports data-driven sales decisions
  • Route to Consumer: Assess Route to Consumer implications for TOFT and recommend improvements to strengthen value chain effectiveness
  • Portfolio management: Translate category, portfolio and brand strategies into the TOFT trade marketing plan

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relation or any related fields
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in trade marketing, channel marketing, category/customer marketing, brand marketing or field sales, preferably in FMCG or beverage industry
  • TOFT exposure, BTL budget management, commercial planning, stakeholder management and team leadership are preferred
  • Understanding of Route to Market, Channel & Customer nature
  • Excellence in execution and strong understanding in Category, Portfolio, Brand, Outlet & customer segmentation
  • Native proficiency in Burmese Language and Fluency in English Language
  • Having a driver's license is a plus
