- Maintain strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and Myanmar financial regulations.
- Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports.
- Manage full set of accounts including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
- Monitor and control inventory accounting, stock valuation, and reconciliation with warehouse records.
- Handle costing of goods, import/export transactions, and landed cost calculations.
- Supervise budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Review daily transactions (advance requests, payment vouchers, journal entries) prepared by accountants.
- Monitor cash flow, bank transactions, and working capital requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation and control over trading transactions (purchases, sales, logistics).
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Coordinate and manage external audits and resolve audit issues.
- Ensure compliance with Myanmar Union Tax Laws, including commercial tax, income tax, and other applicable regulations.
- Keep updated with changes in tax laws and trading regulations.
- Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting systems and procedures.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
- Provide financial insights to support pricing, margin control, and business decisions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

• Have over 5 years of experience in Chief Accountant position
• Must have for a professional Accounting qualification CPA or ACCA Part-2
• Familiar with government taxation laws and regulations, local taxation policies.
• Able to work under pressure and tight reporting deadlines.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Advance Excel, Word,Power Point) 
• Have positive attitude and a good team player with track records of strong performance
