The Enterprise Risk Manager is responsible for establishing, leading, and maintaining the bank’s enterprise-wide risk management framework, with primary operational focus on financial risks (Credit Risk, Market Risk, Interest Rate Risk, and Liquidity Risk) alongside strategic oversight of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) / Climate-related risks. This role ensures comprehensive risk identification, measurement, monitoring, and mitigation across all business lines, aligning risk exposures with the institution's Risk Appetite Framework (RAF), strategic objectives, and evolving regulatory expectations.

• Proven experience with Regulatory Compliance, including familiarity with local and international banking regulations, risk guidelines, and reporting standards.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business, Risk Management, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., FRM, PRM, CFA) are an advantage.
• Strong Enterprise Risk Management experience, including risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation across financial institutions.
• Solid Finance and Financial Services knowledge, with understanding of banking products, portfolios, and balance sheet dynamics.
• Advanced Analytical Skills, including quantitative analysis, data interpretation, and use of risk metrics and models for decision support.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex risk concepts clearly to senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to work systematically, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high ethical standards and integrity.
• Experience in Myanmar’s banking sector or emerging markets and familiarity with transformation or change-management initiatives is beneficial.
